The European Championships are underway in Kaunas, Lithuania and on Wednesday afternoon, the men's Short Program will take place as the men begin the battle for the top of the podium. Defending ISU European Champion Adam Siao Him Fa from France is the one to beat in Kaunas. Siao Him Fa has upped his game and broke the 300-point barrier for the first time this season with 306.78 points. 2023 ISU European silver medalist Matteo Rizzo hopes to be back from injury to compete in Kaunas, but Lukas Britschgi will be ready to challenge the top two after putting up a 263.43 earlier this season.

Another contender from France, Kevin Aymoz is looking for his first medal at the ISU European Championships and has a chance to do it as he currently has a season-high of 279.09. 2022 European bronze medalist Deniss Vasiljevs of Latvia will be looking to compete for a medal and come into the European Championships with a season-best of 221.95.
Other skaters to keep an eye on in the coming days are to watch include Vladimir Litvintsev of Azerbaijan, Nika Egadze of Georgia, Nikolaj Memola from Italy, Mark Gorodnitsky of Israel and Aleksandr Selevko of Estonia.
